How I Flipped Prospecting & Got People to Reach Out To Me

This sound familiar..?
You’re constantly inviting people to take a look at your business—but all too often you’re hearing a resounding, “No!”
…or worse yet, “Let me think about it.”
Kinda discouraging, right?
Maybe you’ve started thinking to yourself…
- “Sheesh, I just want to stop CHASING people!”
- “How do I get people to ASK ME about my business?”
- “How can I finally transform all the actions I’m taking into actual, concrete results (like new customers and distributors)?”

I can remember my sweet 4 year old son, Kaden, asking me to tuck him into bed...my response..."I'll be there in a minute." Sadly, 1 minute turned into 30 minutes because I was frantically trying to send messages, emails, and texts to people that didn't return my messages from the day before.
Follow up was miserable and the rejection was overwhelming.
When I found Kaden asleep on the couch, it was that moment I swore off traditional prospecting forever.
And my results completely changed.
Sometimes prospecting can make you feel like you’re spinning your wheels, getting nowhere fast.
But here’s the truth…
The problem with a lot of “traditional” network marketing methods is this:
Most of what’s being taught simply doesn’t work!
In fact, if you’re following the advice of an old, out-of-touch upline, you might very well be…
Repelling people rather than attracting them to your business!
Luckily, I've got a solution.
It’s called the “Reverse Invite Method.”
Every day, somewhere between 3 and 5 people reach out to me to ask exactly what it is that I'm doing.
They are, quite literally, inviting themselves to take a look at my business.
Let's identify some of the things that repel people rather than attract them.
Do you...
- Post photos of your products and your company name?
- Private Message a complete stranger on social media and send them a link to your opportunity?
- Constantly post before and after photos?
- Message old friends you have not spoken to in years, hoping they may be interested?
- Have conversations online, with a hidden agenda, without really caring about the others person?
- Add people to your facebook group without even asking them?
If you answered yes to any of these, don't freak out. We've all been taught these methods at some point.
But answering yes to any one of those spammy strategies means it's time to find a different strategy.
A strategy that will finally start producing some results for you!
My first secret to posting on social media...
Stop posting the name of your company!
Instead, you want to create curiosity and get people's attention.

When you post the name of your company the first thing a lot of people do is go straight to Google. Have you noticed that Google seems to know everything?! I know it's frustrating. So instead of having a valuable conversation about your products or business, your prospect makes decisions based on Google.
Or worse yet...they find someone else in your company and decide to join them! This totally happens!
You want to be seen as the person giving them the solution to their problem. That is providing value. You need to be the authority on the subject not just a salesperson.
By creating curiosity, you are setting yourself up to have real, genuine conversations in order to help someone else with your product or opportunity.
And, you won't be reaching out to people anymore. They will be knocking on your door, asking for more information! That's the power of curiosity.
When I stopped doing the 6 types of posts mentioned above, I started to see my business and influence grow!
Next, I started telling my true story
Have you ever lied about your results on Facebook?
Talking about a life changing business, making a ton of money, or anything along those lines? But in reality, your results are 0?
We tend to want to make things bright and shiny because we think that will get people's attention.
WRONG.
Most likely they will call your bluff and see right through the BS.
When I finally started telling the truth about where I was at in my business, my presence started to shift.

People could authentically connect with me.
They felt the truth of my story.
People found what I was experiencing valuable. And genuine.
Ultimately, the “big secret” is to come from a place of SERVICE.
When I told people my life was “amazing,” they saw right through it.
It came through in my energy…in my body language…in my “presence.”
When I changed my focus to service, I started asking…
“How can I serve the people I'm trying to attract? How can I bring value to their lives?”
Suddenly my circumstances shifted—quickly!
The more authentic you are, the more you focus on bringing service and providing value, you become that servant-leader, and that’s when people come and want to join you.
All I did was share the truth about my story.
“Hey, here’s where I am. This is what I'm doing now, and this is what’s happening. These are the results I've had. This is what’s working for me. You can make it work, too. Let me show you how to do that.”
It’s that simple.
This is what’s called “Attraction Marketing”
