Toro, Lubbock, TX – Greg and Amy Myers' Blog

The absolute best part of this trip was visiting our son, Ethan.  Ethan is a sophomore at Texas Tech and loves it!

Lubbock is a solid 5 1/2 hour drive for us...by plane and with a nice tailwind...1 hour 45 minutes.  What a blessing!!

It had been a few months since we had seen him, so we took off early Sunday morning to spend the day with him.  We were early enough that we all went to church together and then headed to Toro Burger Bar.  Toro is a small chain restaurant mostly located in West Texas and one location in Mexico.

With 22 burgers, there is something for everyone.  There is even a build your own burger bar. The hardest part was deciding which ONE to order.  So many looked delicious.

This is not a fast restaurant, but a genuine sit down restaurant where they make your burger fresh and delicious.

You can eat inside or enjoy the fresh air on their porch.  Service is very friendly!  Kaden, our youngest, shared his chips and homemade Choriqueso and Avocado Dip.  You can tell we enjoyed it very much.  All the burgers had a great charbroiled flavor and there was plenty to eat.  Clicking the menu to the right to see the list of burgers.

On top of great burgers, they have 40 beers on tap.  Great place to enjoy if you plan to stay the night.  As far as burger places in Lubbock, this is one of the best!  We have been to a few others and this one is definitely blog worthy.

Have a great day!
